Usage is for instance, a 21-g preform for a 1-liter
water bottle and 40-g preform for 1.5L. So say for argument that a 1 litre
bottle is 25 grams or .025Kg. then the cost would be .025 x 1.32= $0.033 per
bottle . Add a top of say $0.003 and a label $0.004. We have a price of $0.004
or 4cents per bottle. This is approx. 20-25% of the sale costs. So 18000
bottles will cost $720 per day or 545Kg of PET or 196 Mtonnes for one 360
day year. Assuming 10 Mtonnes can be carried per trip you would need 20 trips
from KHI port and this expense has to be added, about $7,000 per year or 3% of
bottle cost (not significant).
4 Cents Bottle & Bottling+ Free Water + 3 Cents Delivery=7 Cents and your
wholesale price is 18 Cents or 11 Rupees you will make a nett profit of
18-7=11Cents per bottle or about $2,000 per day. The plant can be paid
off over 4-5 months.
Now the only problem is to convince everyone to invest in this
Ilias.
